Birthdays
For kids and teens (ages 10+)
Escape rooms are one of the best birthday activities going around. Your group works together to solve puzzles, find clues and beat the clock. It is hands-on, it is exciting, and nobody is staring at a screen for an hour.
Our rooms are suitable for ages 10 and up. For younger groups, we recommend Cluemanji (adventure themed, creative puzzles, no scares) or Monsterz (playful, colourful, designed with younger players in mind). Each room fits up to 6 players, and if your group is bigger, we run multiple rooms at the same time so everyone starts and finishes together.
Total time on site is around 90 minutes: arrival, a quick briefing, 60 minutes in the room, and a debrief with your Game Master afterwards.
Note: For each room with 5 or more players under 16, one supervising adult (18+) is requried in each room. We do not charge or count supervising adults against group numbers in this instance.
For adults
Looking for something more memorable than dinner and drinks? An escape room birthday is a guaranteed talking point. Pick a theme your group will love, whether that is a mystery, an adventure, or something with a horror edge, and let us handle the rest.
For larger birthday groups, we run multiple rooms simultaneously. Groups of 12 or more should get in touch so we can recommend the best setup for your venue and numbers.
Bucks and Hens
A bucks or hens party at Rush is 60+ minutes of competitive, high-energy fun before you head out for the rest of your night. Split your group across multiple rooms running at the same time and see which team escapes first.
For bucks and hens groups, we recommend our evening sessions from 6pm onwards. Our rooms with the most energy include HackSaw (horror atmosphere, intense), Game of the Dragon (epic and immersive), and Secret Agent Man (fast-paced spy mission).
How it works for bucks and hens
Pick a venue and an evening time slot.
We split your group across rooms so everyone plays at the same time (up to 6 rooms simultaneously at South Yarra, 3 at Hawthorn, 4 at St Kilda, 3 at Chadstone).
Total time on site is around 90 minutes.
Head straight to dinner or drinks afterwards. All our venues are in areas with plenty of nightlife and restaurants within walking distance.

Other celebrations
Anniversaries, proposals, team socials, or any excuse to get a group together. Escape rooms work because everyone is involved. There is no sitting around, no awkward small talk, just 60+ minutes of working together on something fun.

Large groups
Got a group bigger than 6? No problem. We run multiple rooms at the same time so your whole group starts and finishes together. Here is how the numbers work:
6-12 people: 2 rooms running simultaneously. Works at any venue.
13-24 people: 3 to 4 rooms. South Yarra or St Kilda are your best bet for this size.
24+ people: South Yarra can run up to 6 rooms at once, accommodating groups of 36. For anything bigger, we can stagger sessions or split across two time slots.
Every group gets a briefing from their Game Master before the game and a debrief afterwards. When you book multiple rooms, everyone compares results at the end. It is naturally competitive and people love it. If you are not sure how to split your group across rooms, just tell us your numbers and we will recommend the best setup.
Want to play more than one room?
If your group wants to tackle multiple rooms back to back, you can. Just book consecutive time slots at the same venue through our normal booking page. Each room is 60 minutes, with a debrief and short break between sessions. No special booking required. If you are planning 3 or more rooms, get in touch and we will help you build a schedule that works.
Practical details
Can I bring food or decorations?
Many of our events leverage our venues high quality locations and pick a suitable resturant or cafe nearby. We are happy to provide suggestions depending on location.
Depending on the day and availability, you may be welcome to bring a cake, snacks, and simple decorations to enjoy in our foyer area before or after your game. Please note: we do not have a dedicated party room, food storage facilities or cutlery and this generally not possible on weekends, public holidays or school holidays.

What ages are suitable?
Our rooms are designed for ages 10 and up. Some rooms have darker or horror themes. If you are booking for a younger group, let us know and we will recommend age-appropriate rooms.
How big can my group be?
Each room fits 2 to 6 players. For groups larger than 6, we run multiple rooms at the same time. We regularly host celebration groups of 12, 18, 24 and beyond.
